The special-shaped flange typically goes through multiple steps to be fabricated. Initially, a square billet is created through forging, then it's bent into arc segments, and undergoes annealing and stress-relief heat treatment. Next, the individual arc segments are assembled into a full circle and processed using a vertical lathe to achieve the desired shape and dimensions. Once completed, the finished product is transported to the construction site, where the arc segments are welded to create the special-shaped flange and finally welded to the pressure vessel. This results in a durable and robust special-shaped flange that is ideal for a range of industrial applications.
The specific dimensions of the special-shaped flange container cylinder and the pipe's nominal diameter differ, which means that flanges of the same nominal diameter for the container and pipe have varying sizes. Due to this distinction, the two types of flanges cannot be interchanged. To clarify, the nominal diameter of the container cylinder and pipe represent distinct measurements, making it impossible to substitute one with the other.
